Privacy Policy
Who We Are
Seaynic Labs LLC ("Seaynic Labs," "we," "our") builds automation tools and developer products. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our products and services, including integrations with third-party platforms such as QuickBooks Online and Google Workspace.
What We Collect
Information you provide
- Name and email address (via onboarding forms or account setup)
- Business name and configuration preferences
- OAuth tokens for connected services (QuickBooks Online, Google Workspace)
Information from connected services
When you authorize a connection to QuickBooks Online or Google Workspace, our automation tools may access:
- Transaction data (dates, amounts, payees, categories)
- Chart of accounts and account metadata
- Google Sheets data in designated review spreadsheets
We access only the data necessary to perform the services you have configured. We do not access contacts, messages, files, or data outside the specific scope you authorize.
Information we do not collect
- We do not collect payment card numbers, bank account numbers, or Social Security numbers
- We do not use cookies, analytics trackers, or third-party advertising scripts
- We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes
How We Use Your Data
- Transaction classification: Financial transaction data is processed by AI models to suggest expense categories. This data is sent to the AI provider (Anthropic) for classification and is not stored by the AI provider beyond the request lifecycle.
- Review and approval: Classified transactions are written to Google Sheets for your review. You control approval before any changes are committed to QuickBooks.
- Notifications: Your email address is used to send daily review summaries and system alerts.
- Service operation: OAuth tokens are stored securely in our workflow engine to maintain authorized connections to your accounts.
Data Storage and Security
- OAuth credentials are stored in encrypted credential storage within our self-hosted workflow engine
- Transaction data is processed in memory and written to your own Google Sheets and QuickBooks accounts — we do not maintain a separate database of your financial data
- All connections use TLS encryption in transit
- Access to our infrastructure is restricted to authorized personnel only
Third-Party Services
Our tools integrate with the following services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
- Anthropic (AI classification)
- Google (Sheets, Gmail)
- Intuit QuickBooks (accounting data)
Data Retention
We retain OAuth tokens for as long as your service connection is active. Transaction data is processed transiently — it passes through our system during classification but is not persisted outside of your own Google Sheets and QuickBooks accounts. If you disconnect or request deletion, we remove all stored credentials and configuration data within 30 days.
Your Rights
You may at any time:
- Revoke access by disconnecting OAuth authorizations in QuickBooks or Google
- Request a copy of any data we hold about you
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. Material changes will be communicated via email to active users. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
Enchapter (kids reading app)
Enchapter is a separate consumer product. Its privacy policy and terms are published at enchapter.kids/privacy and enchapter.kids/terms.
